Imphal, October 30 2016:
BJP Keirao Mandal staged a protest demonstration at Arapti Mamang Leikai market shed today against the alleged misrule of the Congress Government.
Speaking to media persons by the sideline of the protest demonstration, BJP active member Takhellambam Samananda said that the people of Keirao Assembly constituency have been facing the worst misery because of the Congress Government's misrule for the past 15 years.
Keirao is now perhaps the most backward Assembly segment in the entire State.

People of Keirao AC have not been given the exact quantity of rice entitled to them under National Food Security Act (NFSA) nor are they given jobs under MGNREGS for the full number of days guaranteed by the scheme.
Perhaps, it is only in Manipur that MLAs have been directly interfering in the implementation of NFSA.
To address all these problems, people need to elected a new representative dedicated to the cause of people, Samananda said while declaring that he has been preparing to contest the forthcoming State Assembly election on BJP ticket.
He also conveyed best wishes to the people of Keirao AC on the occasions of Diwali and Ningol Chakkouba.
BJP State executive member Salam Lala and BJP Keirao Mandal president W Biren were also present at the protest demonstration.
