Chief Minister O Ibobi has greeted the people of Manipur, specially Muslim brethren on the joyous occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
In his message the Chief Minister said, "May the noble ideals of Id-ul-Fitr fill our lives with peace, prosperity and harmony and unite us all in the spirit of universal brotherhood".
The CPI Manipur State Council has also extended best wishes to the Muslim community of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
It prayed that this festival may bring peace and harmony among the people.
MPCC president Gaikhangam has also greeted the Muslim community of Manipur on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
MPP president Dr Nimaichand Luwang while extending best wishes to the Muslim brethren prayed that the festival may herald an era of peace and harmony in Manipur.
Others who have extended their best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Fitr include AMESCO, Lilong Chingkham Makha Youth Club, MLA Th Shyamkumar, Manipur University Muslim Students' Union (MUMSU), Cherapur Makha Youth Development Association, MPP Minority Cell, Pangal Students' Organisation Manipur and Urup-Arapti Development Co-ordinating Committee.
