Andro AC's MLA Th Shyamkumar has been granted permission by the Additional Session Judge of Tis Hazari Court, Delhi to attend the ongoing Assembly Session from July 20 till the end.
the Legislator's counsel Sh Ghanashyam reportedly moved the court with the plea that as Shyamkumar is yet to be convicted and citing article 190(4) of the indian Constitution that implies for an elected member of Assembly to attend assembly session for no less than 60 days, the MLA be permitted to join the current session.
Apart from the Delhi court today granting permission to Th Shyamkumar to attend the Legislative assembly session, it is ordered for mandatory provision of security during the MLA's movement for the remaining period of the assembly session.
mention may be made that the MLA is being detained under judicial custody for his alleged liaison with member/s of banned organisation.
