Imphal, December 06 2021:
Apart from extending its deepest condolences to Naga brothers killed mercilessly while returning home from a coal mine by a combined team of 21 Para Commando and Assam Rifles at Oting village under Mon district in Nagaland on December 4, the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) also extended revolutionary salute to all those killed and shared pains and sorrow of the bereaved families.
It is not new for Indian (Mayang) forces to point guns to innocent civilians in their attempt to counter revolutionary fighters in the region but continuing since long time back, RPF deputy secretary of publicity Roben Khuman said in a condolence note.
According to the RPF, AFSPA empowers Indian army to kill civilians in their occupied region and 'Delhi Bandit' extending condolences to civilian casualties is akin to shedding 'Crocodile's Tears' .
Awarding punishment to culprit security personnel would never be possible as AFSPA gives immunity to them, it added.
While asserting that condolences shared by 'Delhi Bandit' were indeed 'sugar coated bullet' words to pacify and calm down public, the RPF said the matter would be solved by providing some money to bereaved families while comprising human lives and those died at the hands of Indian Occupational Force (IOF) will only be at the receiving end.
People of WESEA region would continue to suffer at the hands of IOF as long as the region remains under India, the outfit said and strongly called for a collective fight to free WESEA from India and live together under one administration.
The RPF also prayed for the departed Naga souls mercilessly killed by Indian army to rest in peace at the heavenly abode.
