Samarjit's brother, another get bail

The High Court of Manipur on Monday accepted the bail application of Narengbam Samarjit's brother N Biswajit and NEIDP general secretary M Tolenjao.
On Monday, the bail application of Biswajit and Tolenjao was heard by the Court.
As per the application, several people had come to the airport to welcome separatist leader Narengbam Samarjit, who had been arrested by NIA on sedition charges, on March 29.When Samarjit was being escorted from the airport, some people raised anti-people slogans and attempted to grab the accused from the custody of the police.
In connection with the incident, Singjamei PS took up a sou moto case and arrested two people on March 30, who have been staying in judicial custody since then.
After examining submissions of both parties, the Court granted bail to Biswajit and Tolenjao on execution of a PR bond of Rs 1 lakh each and similar surety amount.
The Court then instructed both petitioners to assist with the investigation and present themselves before the IO of the case whenever required.
They are prohibited from attempting to temper with the evidences and restricted them from leaving the state without prior permission of Sessions Judge Imphal West.
It then gave approval to the police to do all that are necessary if the petitioners were found violating the court order.
