Atal Tinkering Laboratory opened

An Atal Tinkering Laboratory set up under NITI Aayog was opened at Progressive English School, Lamding.
The lab inauguration programme held at the school campus on Monday was attended by Khangabok MLA Surjakumar Okram as chief guest, School's chief advisor Dr M Nara Singh as president while Slopeland Public School, Khongjom founder Nahakpam Babulin, Edulife India Bangalore founder Thokchom Sanju Singh, Directorate of Economics & Statistics assistant director Ahongsangbam Bishorjit, chartered accountant Chongtham Sanjoy and PHED Thoubal executive engineer Narengbam Livingstone were present as guests of honour.
As a part of programme, a visual demonstration of the Lab was shown to the gathering by Edulife India Bangalore.
It is said that 500 Atal Tinkering Labs have been opened in the country including 60 in Manipur so far.
During the programme, Progressive English School Board of Governing Body secretary Narengbam Robindro was also honoured by presenting an appreciation certificate for his work of opening the Atal Tinkering Laboratory in the school along with presenting gifts to teachers of the school who supported the initiative.
