DD Thaisii hands over medicines to PHC Oinam Hill

Chairman of Management cum Enforcement Committee for 47-Karong A/C and local MLA, DD Thaisii handed over medicines for the people of 47-Karong AC to PHC Oinam Hills today.
The medical consignment was handed over to MO in charge, Dr Halounii Hyppolitus by the convener of Management cum Enforcement Committee, PP Ronald, SDO, Purul in the presence of CMO Senapati, Dr Pfokreho and other management committee members including RK Kaba, S Thaile and Additional SP, Tholu Rocky.
It may be mentioned that since the outburst of the COVID-19 second wave in the district, the Management cum Enforcement Committee for 47-Karong A/C has been carrying out various activities like preparation of Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) at DIET Centre in TNK, Senapati village.
The committee has been working round the clock to fill the gap between the District Administration and the Medical team on the one hand and with the concerned Village Level Task Force on Covid-19 on the other.
Besides, the Committee had also handed over the much needed medicines like Vitamin C plus Zinc, Calcium plus D3, Paracetamol tablet, Cough syrup, anti allergic and Antibiotits to the positive persons through the concerned MO i/c of Oinam Hill PHC, Phaibung Khullen PHC and other Sub centres in the constituency.
100 oximeters were also handed over to the concerned Medical team to monitor the situation in Koide village.
Other items like sodium hypochlorite, pumps, hand sanitizers, gloves and face masks were also handed over to the VAs and volunteers of Koide village in the past.
All the positive persons are reportedly being monitored round the clock by the Medical team and volunteers ever since the outbreak of the pandemic in Koide village and no fatality has been reported so far.
In this regard, the SDO/ BDO, Purul stated that after 5 more days, the containment restriction in the village would be released if no serious case is reported.
The Management Committee has also reportedly coordinated with the Police team stationed at Koide village to oversee the curfew imposed at the village.
