MLA Kayisii reaches out to border village

Reaching out to the Manipur border village located adjacent to Peren district of Nagaland, former Tribal Affairs & Hills minister and MLA of 49-Tadubi A/C N Kayisii on Tuesday inaugurated a newly constructed playground of Tamphung village in Senapati district on Tuesday.
Kwetpiebeung, chairman of Tamphung village, noted that such commendable work done by the former minister could benefit the youngsters and generations to come while S Daiho, former president of Mao Council, stated that N Kayisii who belongs to Mao community got elected after 35 years and asked the gathering to pick and choose their representative who really brings in development in the region.
Speaking as the chief guest, MLA Kayisii thanked the villagers for electing him to be able to fulfil his election campaign promise and said that he's always ready to go to remotest places and see the difficulties faced by the people.
N Kayisii, who is also the NPP state president, condemned in the strongest term the recent bomb blast at the residence of Ningthoujam Diten, who is also an intending candidate of the party, adding that such an uncivilised act has no place in any society.
The programme was followed by distribution of blankets and sports materials to the villagers.
Village leaders, youth leaders and CSO leaders under 49-Tadubi A/C and neighbouring villages attended the event.
