Imphal, December 08 2022: Kabui Dharma Sabha, Manipur organised the Kabui Salang Maiba Memorial observance on the theme Hee-yai Puraba Kabui Salang Maiba, at Manipur Hindi Parishad Hall, Old Assembly Road, here, on Thursday.

The observance was attended by Brahmakumaris Manipur State and coordinator in-charge Nilima as chief guest, while Vivekananda awardee Thokchom Shivadatta Singh was president.

Speaking on the occasion, Kabui Dharma Sabha president Tomba Kabui recounted that Kabui Salang Maiba pushed for a united Manipur, as known from the pages of history.

However, the present generation barely remembers Kabui Salang Maiba and his contributions.

As such, Kabui Dharma Sabha Manipur decided to organise the observance to remember Kabui Salang Maiba in addition to ensuring promotion of integrity of Manipur, he conveyed, while remarking that Kabui community has a huge role to play in this regard.
