MJS topper vows speedy justice

While observing that frequent adjournments in case hearing is one of the reasons for taking too much time in justice delivery process, Neera Sinam, who topped Manipur Judicial Services (MJS) Grade-III exam conducted by the High Court of Manipur, said that she will try to reduce hearing adjournment for ensuring speedy justice.
In an exclusive interview with The People's Chronicle, Neera Sinam pointed out that the main reason for slowing down the justice delivery system in India is the frequent adjournment of case hearing in court by giving one reason or another.
As such, her priority would be to ensure expeditious disposal of cases when she becomes a judge.
While stating that she was well acquainted with legal theories as she had completed law graduation only last year, Neera continued that she will strive for gaining more work experiences.
Neera Sinam is the daughter of Professor Sinam Rajendra, former HOD department of Urology, RIMS and professor Priyosakhi, RIMS head of department of ENT and former medical superintendent.
She completed BA LLB from Law College, Dehradun last year.
She gave credit to her family, college teachers and her friends Anya and Twinkle for her success.
