Rape accused sent to Tihar Jail

The three black youths and the two Manipuri women who were allegedly involved in Dwarka Mor (Delhi) rape case have been sent to the judicial custody of Tihar jail.
Manipur Young Mind Association, Delhi advisor Raju Ningombam said that Delhi police had raided the rented houses of some women accomplices of the two arrested women on their revelations.
However, they had already left their respective houses before police came there, Raju said.
All these women are married but separated from their husbands, he said.
Raju urged all parents and families of the State to closely watch what their wards are doing in Delhi.
He said that it is unfortunate to put the whole Manipuri people in poor light by some mischievous persons .

A Sarat, father of Shila.
who has been allegedly involved in Dwarka Mor (Delhi) rape case, has urged the public to give befitting punishment to his daughter.
Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club, Sarat said that Shila's in-laws' family has never informed him about her divorce from her husband.
He has also not received any divorce related papers/documents from them, Sarat added.
He further said that he does not know that Shila has gone to Delhi as well.
Shila never came to his house after she was separated from her husband, Sarat clarified.
He also urged the public to give her befitting punishment if his daughter was involved in the heinous crime.
Meanwhile, Chanura Lam-chinglel Kangleipak (CLK).
Kanglei Ima Lup (KIL) and Kangleipak Lamjing Apunba Meira Lup (Kanglamei) have strongly condemned the incident where two married women from the State abetted the rape of a student from the State by three black youths at Delhi.
In a joint statement, the three bodies termed the act as inhuman and beastly.
The three bodies also banned the entry of the two women namely Sorokhaibam Shila Devi of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai and Priya Thapa alias Bhanu of Shantipur, Kanglatongbi.
who are accused of abetting the crime, to the State.
They also urged the locals where these two women hail to make public their decision against the two abettors of the crime.
It further urged the State Govt to take appropriate action against the three rapists and the two women.
