Imphal, January 12:
Strongly condemning the BSNL authority for the sloppy mobile service, the Senapati District Students' Association has set a three day time deadline for the BSNL to improve the mobile service at the district or else all BSNL offices will be closed down and a total ban will be imposed on all BSNL vehicles as well as on vehicles carrying BSNL equipment on NH-39.In a statement, the student body said that BSNL should mend its erratic mobile network, correct all false billing and provide extra talk time for the period and provide regular mobile network in the district.
Lamenting the sloppy service dished out by BSNL, the student body said that it has failed not only in providing satisfactory service but has also caused immense inconvenience to the mobile users.
While BSNL Cell One has become an instrument to siphon public money, it has miserably failed to provide satisfactory service, charged SDSA and added that repeated complaints to the BSNL authorities have failed to cut ice.
