Politics most successful business: Dr Nara

The 74th foundation of Communist Party of India (CPI) Manipur State Council was observed by CPI Kakching Local Council at CPI Kakching Office, Kakching Khiinyai Leikai on Monday along with formation of CPI Election Committee for Kakching assembly constituency for the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Election.
The programme was attended by CPI National Executive member Dr Moirangthem Nara, state executive members Yengkhom Dhananjoy, M Iboyaima, CPI Thoubal District secretary Elangbam Sharat and intending CPI candidate from Kakching AC Kshetrimayum Kesho as presidium members.
During the function which began with paying of floral tributes to Jana Neta Hijam Irabot, Dr Nara stated that presently politics in Manipur has becoming a thriving business to make oneself rich with many politicians joining one party from another just for personal gains thereby exposing that such politicians have no ideology and principle.
In contrast, CPI is a party which stands for its ideology and working for the welfare of working class.
Without a stable government there can be no development in the state and this requires MLAs who sticks to their roots.
But presently there are many who shift loyalties with some even facing disqualification.
Dr M Nara asserted that his party is willing to work tor a stable government, proper distribution of welfare benefits to all, controlling inflation, uniform development, chalking up policy for income generation of people and maintaining peace and harmony among the people.
CPI state executive member Yengkhom Dhananjoy stated that the BJP- led government has made the nation unstable.

Farmers have been running pillar to post to get urea in last two-three months after the government promised that there will no shortage of urea.
People have been intimidated and detained for saying anything against the government, he alleged.
