6th Chingmi Tammi Iftar Party organised

All Manipur Muslim Development Committee (AMMDC) organised its 6th annual Chingmi Tammi Iftar Party at the Lilong Kaleikhong campus of New Life New Way on Friday.
The programme was attended by AMMDC president Pusham Sayeed Ahamad, JCILPS co-convener Warepam Second, AMMOCOC president SM Jalal, CADA president Hijam Priyokumar.
UMMWDO president Anwari Norjahan, AMUCO general secretary Dr Noren Thokchom, UCM general secretary Ng Deva Meitei, Kuki Inpi president Mangcha Haokip, villagers of Chingkham Kabui village, members of Muslim and Meitei communities, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Sayeed Ahamad noted that various communities in the state have been living harmoniously since time immemorial but mainland India has been frequently resorting to policies that might create division amongst us.
Due to God's grace no such division has arisen, despite mainland India's attempts to divide the small com -munities, he said and contended that AMMDC and other CSOs have been opposing such policies tooth and nail.
Sayeed asserted that if mainland India continues its One Nation, One Country policy, the Committee along with other CSOs will face it head on.
The Committee will also not agree to the move being made by Union home minister to make Hindi a Compulsory subject till class X, he further mentioned.
