Ngailut Rehabilitation Centre inaugurated

Kangpokpi, August 23 2021:
Ngailut Rehabilitation Centre set up by Social Action for Human Economic Integration (SAHEI) at Saron Veng Ward No 3, Keithelmanbi Military Colony in Kangpokpi district has beeen inaugurated on Monday.
The Centre has been established with the stated objective to help free the people from the bondage of drug abuse and alcoholism and guide them discover newer ways to live without dependence on drugs and or alcohol.
The Centre was inaugurated by SHADC Kangpokpi chief executive officer James Doujapao Haokip, who attended as chief guest while TBA pastor reverend Thangkai Sitlhou dedicated it in the presence of other dignitaries.
The event was also attended by SP (Kangpokpi) Karthik Malladi, 38 AR Kangpokpi post commander major Hari Krishnan and Keithelmanbi Village Authority chairman Dehlam Lhouvum.
SAHEI secretary Michael Lamjathang Haokip, in his keynote address, said that it is for the welfare of the people especially the youth that such a rehabilitation centre has been set up in the area to provide newer ways to live a dignified life without the use of drugs and or alcohol.
The other dignitaries also assured of all possible help and assistance from their side towards the Rehabilitation Centre.
Meanwhile, 38 Assam Rifles of 22 Sector AR/IGAR (E) provide essential items to the centre for conducting drugs de-addiction camp which commenced after the inauguration.
