Nagaland Governor condoles Jayantakumar's death

Imphal, April 27 2015 :
Governor of Nagaland, Assam and Tripura PB Acharya on Monday conveyed a condolence message on the sudden death of a great literary person, late Bachaspatimayum Jayantakumar Sharma, on April 9 last.
In his condolence message he said that Jayantakumar's writing on musical lyrics touched the hearts of millions and his death is a great loss to the people of Manipur.
His writing inspired not only music lovers in Manipur but also other parts of the country.
Acharya also enjoyed his music and writing and fondly remembered the tune of his famous songs Like "Leihouroko Mallaba Khangpok�." ( I am leaving my old hut) .
His valuable compiled books and the latest hit song "Hada Samadon Ayangba.." will be remembered fondly by the people of Manipur.
"I convey my heartfelt condolences to all members of the family of the departed soul and I pray to the almighty that the departed soul may rest in peace".
