Imphal, June 19 2015 :
Works Minister, Dr.Kh Ratankumar said that in Europe a teacher who beats students is punishable.
He was attending a felicitation function as Chief Guest in a program to honour topper of this year's Class X exam conducted by BOSEM, Melody Khoirom and all the students who passed out brilliantly in first division from Khuman Maheikol.
A person only thinks about two percent on good things in a day and one needs to bring the rest negative thinking to positivity.
Thinking positively and forwarding continuously to achieve the target will help to be a topper, the Minister said.
Students who study in schools can be brought up in many ways.
Instead of saying "don't run fast" a good teacher used to say "run slow" .
Even if a student is slow on education there must be some talent where he can be on top.
So the days have gone to beat a student, and to hear such news make no sense at all, the minister added.
The minister also announced to grant ten thousand rupees for the teachers and three lakh rupees to construct a new library.
Founder of Khuman Maheikol, Yumnam Ajit also said that there is very much difference in school fee compared to other private schools of Imphal.
He expressed his unhappiness on behalf of the teachers for low salary and praised for continuously supporting the students.
