According to a press release issued by its Publicity and Information Secretary L Priyobarta, the cease work stir has successfully completed 22 days today.
Expressing reservations over the conduct of State police force, the JAC also urged upon State police personnel not to impede the strike in any form.
The press release said that a team of State police personnel broke the lock of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry fixed by the volunteers of JAC yesterday.
Maintaining that JAC is aware of the amount earmarked in the 12th Finance Commission for the State and to be kept aside in the 13th Finance Commission, the press release asked why Manipur Government is unable to implement 6th Pay Commission with full DA/DR arrear while neighbouring Mizoram does it with an ease.
