SK Oil quota reduced

While reducing the State's quota of SK Oil, the Government of India has directed the State Government to hike the price of SK Oil, informed a source.
The monthly SK Oil quota for the State was 1952 Kls till March this year.
But the monthly quota was reduced to 1856 Kls from April till June.
Again the monthly SK Oil quota was reduced by another 92 Kls from July to September.
Further, the State's SK Oil quota for the months of October-December has been slashed by 648 Kls reducing the quota to just 1116 Kls per month.
Consequent upon the reduction in monthly quotas, each card holder was entitled to 3.5 litres per month between July and September.
It will be reduced to just 2.2 litres per month from October to December.
In the meantime, the State Government has been instructed to hike the price of SK Oil by 50 paise every month.
At this rate, SK Oil will be costlier by Rs 3 per litre by February next year, said the source.
