Imphal, June 27 2013:
While condemning the alleged cold blooded killing of six NSCN- K cadres in a stage managed fake encounter by personnel of 10th AR at Songlung village on June 22, Zeliangrong Baudi (ZB); All Zeliangrong Students' Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland); Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF-AMN) and Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) have submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh demanding to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe into the gruesome killing and illegal detention of Rajanglung Kamei, Captain of NSCN-K .
The slain cadres of the outfit namely Chujanglung Dangmei (36); Leikampou Thaimeia (37); Ngoubui Newme (27); Majadai Panmei (31); ST Moningam (39) and Laban Rongmei (18) have gone to AR camp in civil dress at around 6.30 PM of 18th June, 2013 on receiving an invitation from Col.Ajay Sharma and Major Gagan for a discussion.
Besides, the same AR had invited another two cadres of NSCN-K namely Ngoubui Newme and Laban Rongmei in the afternoon of 21st June.
But once they stepped into the AR camp they were allowed nor talked with their family members.
Instead, they were taken into custody till they were eliminated in the stage-managed fake encounter, the memorandum asserted.
Demanding the release of Rajanglung Kamei (Captain) of NSCN-K, who too has been invited by the AR on 22nd June, 2013 at about 2.30 PM, the memorandum asserted that he has been kept in the custody of 10 AR and tortured with third degree method to prevail upon him to sign on blank paper for participating in a fake surrender drama.
The memorandum, a copy of which has also been forwarded to Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Sinde and Union Minister of Defence, further asked whether there is any clandestine directive from GOI to eliminate cadres of the Naga army to demoralize the Naga Army and public.
