The CorCom has condoled the demise of NSCN-IM vice chairman General (retd) Khole Konyak on December 12.According to a statement issued by CorCom, Khole Konyak was serving as a Naga National worker since 1956 with a vision to free WESEA from alien rule.
He was one revolutionary leader who took active roles in all major efforts to unify revolutionary groups of the region.
His lofty ideals and sacrificial spirit were a source of inspiration to all fellow revolutionaries.
Khole Konyak always preferred to lead a simple life and he had no cravings for high post.
His principle was 'to follow never for high post', CorCom said.
Saying that his demise is a big loss not only for Naga people but also for all the peoples of WESEA, the CorCom prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
