Ten days Personality Development programme concludes

A 10 days Personality Development Programme concluded today at Conference Hall of CARD, Thoubal Kshetri Leikai.
The programme was organised by Dattopant Thangadi National Board for Worker Education and Development, Imphal in collaboration with Council for Advancement of Rural Development (CARD) Thoubal.
The valedictory function was attended by M Rajendro Singh, retd Joint Director, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, GoM; Ch Basanta Singh, District Programme Manager, National Health Mission, Thoubal; and K Lokendro Singh, DACYP Member, NYK Thoubal as Chief Guest, Guest of Honor and President respectively.
N Somoranjit Singh, Education Officer, Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Worker Education & Development, Imphal delivered the report of the 10 days training programme and said that the training programme was attended by 30 youths including 12 males and 18 females from Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal and Kakching Districts.
Physical exercise and Yoga classes were also conducted in the morning daily by instructor N Inaocha Devi during the programme.
Different topics such as Life skill education, Leadership qualities, personality development, good governance, accounting, flagship programmes of Govt of India, etc, were facilitated through powerpoint presentation, lecture and group discussions during the programme.
As part of the programme, educational field visits were also conducted at YVU Thoubal Wangmataba and Thoubal Multipurpose Project while cultural programmes were also performed by the parcipants in the evening to showcase their talents.
M Rajendro, Chief Guest of the function expressed gratitude to the National Board for Workers Education for organising such programme for the benefits of the youths of the State.
He also appealed to organise more such similar programmes in rural areas of the State.
K Lokendro Singh advised the participating youths to stay away from substance abuse and said that the trained youths will now be able to express themselves without any fear under peer pressure and can take right decision in their life.
Certificates were also distributed to the successful participants on the concluding day of the prog.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks from W Ibohal Singh, Secy Council for Advancement of Rural Development Thoubal.
