No place for violence in democracy: MLA T Radheshyam

Strongly condemning the violence perpetrated allegedly by Trinamool Congress in West Bengal after the end of assembly election there, former education minister and incumbent Heirok MLA T Radheshyam has said that violence has no place in democracy.
The former minister stated this while addressing party workers at Heirok Part-II on Tursday wherein BJP Heirok Mandal organised a sit-in-protest against post-poll violence by Trinamool Congress in West Bengal.
The protest was part of the two-day nationwide protest announced by BJP central committee against killing and violence perpetrated allegedly by Trinamool Congress workers against BJP loyalists.
BJP Manipur Pradesh state secretary Kh Basanta, who also took part in the protest, said that BJP securing 77 seats in the just concluded assembly election in West Bengal was a big achievement for BJP but Trinamool Congress wants to suppress BJP's success and thus unleashed violence.
Meanwhile, BJP Wangkem Mandal also staged similar protest on Tursday at Charangpat Maning Leikai wherein social worker Jiban Kharibam attended and strongly condemned post-poll violence in West Bengal.
BJP Lilong Mandal also condemned the post-poll violence unleashed by TMC and staged sit-in protest for the second successive day on Tursday.
In a release, BJP Lilong Mandal general secretary informed that TMC has no ideology and proper foundation.
TMC should not be supported and should be demolished from the roots of Manipur, added the release.
NONEY: As a part of the nationwide agitation, BJP Scheduled Tribes Mocha, Manipur Pradesh organised a sit-in protest in Noney district against the alleged post-poll violence unleashed by TMC workers in West Bengal.
The protest led by BJP- ST Morcha, Manipur president Lanjaigai Kamei also had the participation of other BJP workers.
Speaking to media persons, Kamei strongly condemned the post-poll violence unleashed by TMC workers in West Bengal.
While appealing to the central government to book the culprits as per the laws of the land, he said that the TMC government led by Mamata Banerjee must be held responsible for the violence.
KAKCHING: Condemning the post-poll violence allegedly perpetrated by workers of Trinamool Congress against the BJP workers in West Bengal, BJP Chandel and Tengnoupal Mandal staged sit-in demonstrations on Tursday.
The protest conducted under the supervision of BJP Manipur State Disciplinary Action Committee member Yanglet Haokip and BJP Chandel district president SK Angshel Lamkang was organised at Damjol waiting by BJP 41-Chandel Mandal members and at Tengnoupal district headquarters by BJP 42-Tengnoupal Mandal members.
