Two youths of Sajouba village in Senapati district who went to Imphal with the hope of getting better jobs lure by a non-local were missing since they left their village on November 1. Regarding the missing of the two youths, Tadubi police has registered a case and investigation is on to trace out their whereabouts in Imphal, source said.
Police registered the case after one village of Sajouba lodged a complaint with the Tadubi police station.
The two youths identified as K Losii (18) and K Soni (17) of Sajouba village under Tadubi police station of Senapati district have left Imphal along with Rs 15,000 in cash in their possession to meet one Md Hussain son of Abdul of Baskandi village, Silcher in Assam presently staying at Kairang in Imphal on November 1 last.
They were called by Hussain for providing better jobs in Imphal but no clue regarding whereabouts of them could not traced out till date, the complaint lodged by one M Kapani of Sajouba village stated.
When the family contacted with Hussain on November 19 last, he informed that he assured of tracing out the two missing youths and hand over to the families.
But, their whereabouts could not be traced out till date, the complainant stated in his complaint.
