7th Manipur State Conference held

Prior to its National Conference which will be held from January 28 to 31 next year, Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) conducted its 7th Manipur State Conference at Heikham Kala Singh Memorial Community Hall, Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai, today.
Speaking at the event, BEFI, Manipur State Unit president, S Bijoy Singh conveyed that during the 1 Oth National conference of BEFI, the federation will demand the authorities concerned to fill the vacant posts of clerk, sub-staff and sweepers in several banks.
The federation will also demand the authorities concerned to take up neccesary steps to recover the loans owed to big industrialists as per the Constitution, he said and added that BEFI totally opposes the stand of Central Government to privatise, merge Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank.
National level srtike will be launched on December 26, he said.
