The Chairman and Secretary of Duiluan Village Authority decried the non-construction of road at Tajei-Thuak Matung (Duiluan part 2) though the work order was passed in December last year, said a press note released by Duiluan Village Authority.

To this new development, the villagers were very excited with the inauguration and had hoped that it will bring development in the region, however, the Village Authority alleged that the road construction for the portion from Tajei-Thuak Matung (Duiluan Part-2) to Phalong Part-2, which is about 11 kms long, remain unfinished till date, the statement added and further alleged that the work order of the said portion was taken by Pousuamlung vide work order No T/7/Tml/P/2016-17, dated December 20, 2016.The Village Authority while questioning why the said portion is still lying neglected, asserted they will not keep silent if the fund is drawn without completing the work, the statement added.
While condemning such unwanted activity, Lungkhonang, Chairman and Dinkoulak Panmei, Secretary of the Village Authority appealed the concern authority to look into the matter at the earliest.
