Refuting the allegations made by JM Thadou, Secretary Information & Publicity of UKLF that KNLF/KPA is threatening Kuki Inpi, the apex Kuki civil body, Kuki Chiefs' Association, KSO, Kuki Women's Movement for Human Rights (KUMHUR) and other Kuki civil bodies, Secretary Information and Publicity of KNLF/KPA Kolphe Kuki has asserted the charges are totally baseless.
Kolphe Kuki clarified that KNLF/KPA has never threaten the Kuki civil bodies but pay their respect and highest regard for their tireless efforts towards the welfare of the Kuki society and shall co-operate with them in future.
He went on to say that after much deliberation, KNLF/KPA signed the Suspension of Operation with the Central and the State Government on August 30 at Delhi and joined the home coming cum signing of MoU organised by the Government on September 9 at Ist MR Imphal with the objective to shun the path of violence and reunite with the peace loving citizens of India.
Therefore, it is an appeal to the Government and the public not be mislead by such baseless and shameful allegations made by UKLF.
KNLF/KPA shall always stand for peace and shall not allow any element to disturb peace and peaceful co-existence of its people anywhere.
As such, the Kuki civil bodies should clarify whether any such allegations exist or not from their own and not by the UKLF, Kolphe Kuki added.
