MKVIB praises State Government

Apart from providing proper skill to the youth to reduce the problem of unemployment in the State, Manipur Khadi and Village Industries Board (MKVIB) is now working to provide uniforms for the students from the academic session 2020-2021.This was said by MKVIB Chairman L Radhakishore during a press meet held at MKVIB office at Lamphelpat, today.
After staying inactive for several years, the Board has been able to conduct many praise worthy programmes after the BJP led coalition Government came into power, he said and added that a new toilet facility, training cum production centre have been constructed apart from taking up other renovation at the office of MKVIB at Lamphelpat.
Many training programmes have been conducted at the training cum production centre inaugurated by Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Trade, Commerce and Industries Minister, Th Biswajit, he added.
L Radhakishore also said that the Board has conducted succesfully training programmes of bee keeping in different districts to ensure that the vision of doubling farmers' income is achieved.
MKVIB has bought a lands at Thongjao, Hiyangthang, Kakching, Toupokpi, Jiribam and will soon open Multi Disciplinary Training Centre at Hiyangthang, Pottery cum Production Centre at Thongjao and Handicraft Training cum Production Centre at Kakching, he added.
