Programme on career guidance organised

Imphal, July 24 2022:
A one-day follow-up programme on
career guidance was
conducted by Bungmi
Association of Community Empowerment and
Leadership (BACEL) for
class 10-12 students at
Monsang Pantha community hall.
Speaking at the programme, food safety officer (Chandel) Dr Sh Wilson informed that during
their time they did not
have such guidance and
told the students that they
were lucky and encouraged them to concentrate
wholeheartedly in their
studies to achieve successes in future.
Warshing, a church
leader of the village,
stated that learning, discipline and fear of God
should go hand in hand
while Sh Lawrence Monsang opined that students
need to have self-introspection to know themselves, work hard and
seek guidance always.
Sh Francis Kingdom, a
linguistics scholar, spoke
widely on the need to have
effective communication
and writing skills in order to be successful, while
Ng Rameson Monsang,
founder and president of
BACEL, encouraged the
youth to come out and
share their problems.
He also highlighted the
ways and means for career building once they
(students) are ready.
The successful candidates of class 10 and 12
were also felicitated with
gifts.
The programme was
attended by local catechist
of the village Ng Johnson,
Monsang Women's Union
president Dinpham Monsang, Monsang Pantha
Youth and Cultural Club
president Ng Peter Salim.
BACEL is an organisation founded by
like-minded people of
Monsang Pantha aspiring
to build communities in
respect of developing human resources, resource
management, empowerment women and youth
and enabling self-sustaining community.
