Workshop on saving snakes held

Bishnupur, July 24 2022:
Bishnupur Forest Division organised a one-day introductory workshop on saving snakes at Sadu Chiru village in Senapati district on Sunday.
The workshop was attended by Sadu Chiru chief TD Roika as chief guest, Range Forest Officer Bishnupur S Ratankumar Singh as president and Animal Health Care Mumbai founder Parak Shinde and wildlife explorer Brajachan Singh as guests of Honour.
Delivering the key note speech, S Ratankumar stated that snakes help in controlling the rodent population and as such, urged the people against killing snakes but to work together to save other wildlife as well.
