BJYM urges Govt to stop border fencing

President of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Manipur Pradesh O Malesh has demanded the State Government to stop the ongoing Indo-Myanmar border fencing that would result in loss of large territory of Manipur.
Addressing media persons at State BJP office here today, Malesh said that the Congress Government in the State is like the 'government of contractors' which does not have any concern about the State even when the territorial integrity is at stake.
He further said that the then Prime Minister Moraji Desai's son Madur Sekhar Desai has started a campaign for BJP youths in Bihar and it would have a profound effect on the national political scenario.
The Congress Party would face a big blow in the coming Lok Sabha election.
The BJYM would further carry out enrolment drive for 20,000 youths in the State, and appealed to all to join the month-long observance of "Athoubasingi Ningsing Tha".
The observance would include organizing debate and painting competitions and cleanliness drive at Ema Keithel, the President disclosed.
Secretary of Media Affairs of BJP Manipur Pradesh Laimayum Basanta Sharma said that "Athoubasingi Ningsing Tha" has been observed by BJYM since 1997.The BJP has been working for the welfare and development of common people in the country, he added.
