Imphal, March 21 2014 :
Altogether 86 students of Ram Krishna Higher Secondary School, Ghari who appeared in the CBSE conducted class XII exam were allegedly allotted fake roll numbers.
Speaking to media persons after inspecting the CBSE exam at the school yesterday, MSF general secretary Oinam Nandababu said that a total of 237 students of the school appeared in the class XII exam in Science and Arts streams which concluded yesterday.
Out of them, 86 students were either allotted forged roll numbers or their roll numbers were not registered at all.
Some students who had to give Mathematics exam on the last day were given roll allotted to Fine Arts candidates.
Apart from allotting same roll numbers to two or more candidates, some roll numbers allotted to students of the State were found registered in the name of students belonging to other States, Nandababu said.
Moreover, it has turned out that Ram Krishna Higher Secondary' School has not been recognised by CBSE.
Students of the school were giving CBSE exams after attaching them to Little Rose Higher Secondary School, Canchipur.
Saying that school Principal Oinam Jawan from Bishnupur has gone into hiding, the MSF general secretary strongly condemned the deceitful act committed by the school authority against unsuspecting students.
MSF has decided to close the school until the matter is settled to the satisfaction of all concerned parties.
Holding the school Principal responsible for the fiasco.
Nandababu sought immediate attention of the Education Minister.
Students of the school were never asked to append their signatures on the broadsheet.
On being questioned, the invigilators only said that the broadsheets were yet to arrive.
Nonetheless, the candidates were asked to sign on the broadsheets yesterday (Mathematics paper) but the same sheets looked like forged ones.
Nandababu added.
