NE Seva Dal training concludes

A seven-day training programme for Seva Dal volunteers of north-eastern states organized by Manipur Pradesh Congress Seva Dal concluded at Retreat House, Mantripukhri here today.
The valedictory function was attended by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi, Deputy Chief Minister and MPCC President Gaikhangam, Deputy Speaker MK Preshaw, Parliamentary Secretary Victor Keishing and other office bearers of MPCC.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi said that Seva Dal is an important wing of Indian National Congress (INC).
The training programme would help the Seva Dal volunteers to dedicate themselves more in the service of people.
The Congress Party would be able to work relentlessly for the people only when the Seva Dal is strengthened.
He further said that Seva Dal is the symbol of discipline, peace and integrity.
MPCC would try to organize more training programmes for Seva Dal volunteers at both state and district levels, Ibobi noted.
Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam said that the Seva Dal volunteers have been trained both physically and mentally to safeguard the integrity of the country.
The Congress Party would be able to move forward with sheer dedication and commitment of the Seva Dal.
Chief Minister Ibobi also also administered oath for the participants of the training programme.
