IGNTUSU lifts boycott

Students' Union of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Regional Campus Manipur has lifted its boycott of the Varsity Entrance Examination and rescheduled the date of examination on Friday.
Union Vice President, LenpuHaokip said the Entrance Examination of the Varsity which was scheduled on May 22 had been boycotted by the Students' Union against the decision of University Authority of IGNTU, Amarkantak MP regarding the reduction of intake capacity in admission from 30 seats to 20 seats for the academic session 2015-16 of IGNTU-RCM.
However, the Students'Union and the University authority came to an understanding after the later revoked its decision and agreed not to decrease the intake capacity from 30 seats said the Union VP while adding that IGNTUSU-RCM has subsequently lifted the boycott of the entrance examination while the examination has been rescheduled on July 24 .
While informing the applicants for the said exam to visit the Varsity Administration Block for more details about the examination the IGNTUSU-RCM Vice President Lenpu Haokip conveyed the Union's gratitude to all the applicants and others for their cooperation towards the Students' Union in the interest of the student community.
