Six leaders of JCILPS including Convenor of the Womens' Wing, JCILPS Lourembam Nganbi were arrested on Friday at around 1.30 pm by a team of Bishnupur Police.
But they were later released in the evening at around 5.30 pm.
While talking to Hueiyen Lanpao over the phone after her release, Nganbi said that the Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrants Bill 2015 should be withdrawn and a new bill which safeguards the indigenous communities of Manipur should be passed at earliest.
If the Government fails to fulfill the demand of JCILPS and if the arrested leaders of JCILPS not released unconditionally then the five days public curfew on non-Manipuris by JCILPS might be extended indefinitely, she warned.

Nganbi on behalf of JCILPS while strongly condemning the killing of Sapam Robinhood who could have become an officer demanded murder trial case against the police personnel who were involved in the intentional killing.
She also expressed dissatisfaction over the Ibobi led Government which has turned into state of military rule where its security forces reigns supreme.
The three agreements which were made between Manipur Government and JCILPS were not specified in the Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants and Migrants Bill 2015.CM Ibobi's statement on Thursday's Assembly Session who proposed to withdraw the controversial bill and pass a new bill after discussion with the people is already late since he made the statement after his forces killed a student, Nganbi added.
The demand of JCILPS is not against the non-Manipuris but the demand is to safeguard the indigenous people of the state.
Even the United Nations has declared and made provision to safeguard indigenous people of the world.
Therefore, until and unless the State Government brings a concrete solution on the issue with JCILPS, more agitations will be launched with the support of Manipuri mass against the Govt., she warned.
