Drama fest from April 1

Imphal, March 31 2019:
A three week long "Drama festival", a constituent of "Padmakumar Sahityagi Festival 2019" will begin from April 1 with a play titled "Khomlen Manglanda" at Shrine playhouse, Chorus Repertory Theatre, Uripok Kangchup road, Imphal.
The opening play (Khomlen Manglanda) written by Kangjam Padmakumar and directed by Uttamkumar Naorem will be performed by Liberty Theatre, Kakching.
Altogether 13 theatre groups will perform different plays written by Kangjam Padmakumar and Kangjam Radhakumar during the festival which will be held till April 20 .
The plays which will be showcased during the festival are "Tritha Chatpa", "Lan Amashung Sheireng", "Wangma Wangma", "Ayekpa Laina Tamnaba", "Doctor", "Shakyeng Mingshel", "Shamlang-gi Thong Landuna", "Shakkhidraba Eshei", "Taramarini Panbei Thaja", "Jallianwala Bagh" and "Laireipakki Heikol Leikol".
There will be no plays on April 3, 4, 5, 6, 14 and 18 owing to the 42nd foundation day of Chorus Repertory Theatre, Cheiraoba and elections.
