Cabinet decides to construct Cultural building at Gurgaon

Imphal, September 09 2013:
The State Cabinet today decided to construct a Cultural building at Gurgaon where the Central Government has allotted 4.28 acres of land to Manipur for use in Art and Culture related works.
The construction works which is to be taken up has been assigned to the Public Works Department.
Around 25 percent of the total allocated land area has been marked for the construction process while the remaining land area will be kept vacant in accordance to the rules of the Urban Development Authority of Haryana.
During the Cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister also assured that around Rs 10-20 crores would be sanctioned initially to start the construction of the proposed cultural centre during this year.
