A Cabinet meeting held this evening with Chief Minister O Ibobi in the chair reviewed the re-verification process of the head count in three sub-divisions in Senapati district.
The re-verification process conducted from August 3 to August 6 by a joint team of the State Government officials and officials of the Registrar General of India covered 20-22 villages, informed a source.
These villages were among the 48 villages selected randomly from Mao-Maram, Purul and Paomata sub-divisions.
The Cabinet meeting deliberated on the information received so far about the re-verification process.
On the other hand, the State Cabinet gave its approval for expansion of NH 39 to Chingamakha-Heirangoithong road, Khagempalli to Naoremthong road and Uripok Canteen road up to 20 to 25 metres.
The State Cabinet further agreed in principle to construct a VVIP guest house at the complex where the High Court was situated earlier and also a performing art centre in the State's Gurgaon plot.
