CADA conducts anti-drug drive at Bishnupur school

As part of its continuous campaign in educational institutions, the Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) organised an awareness programme at AKP Regular English Academy at Bishnupur Ward no 4, Bishnupur district today, a release issued by Geetchandra Mangang, Secretary Information & Publicity CADA says.
In the programme held on the theme "Impact of drugs on the student community", Okram Jagat,Principal AKP Regular English Academy and Dipanjit Ningthoujam, Secretary General of CADA graced as the Presidium members, while Geetchandra Mangang, Secretary Information & Publicity CADA and Nepram (o) Bimola, Secretary Women's & Child Affairs were Resource persons.
In his speech, Geetchandra said the issue of drug abuse is the most important among others happening in Manipur.
As drug abuse does not bring any good to society, drugs problem, unless controlled by punishing the traffickers, will ruin the next generation.
Stating that most crimes against women and children have their origin from the drug abuse, Bimola stressed the need to caution the women without whose understanding, the society will suffer a lot.
CADA further appeals to the people of the land to participate in its campaign against drugs.
