Scraps, instead of intended goods delivered through Post

Three carton boxes among five, packed with medicines and mailed through the Post, have scraps of papers and magazines in them when delivered to the addressee.
One Ksh Rajamani Singh S/o Ksh Achou Singh of Sagolband Moirang Leirak, who runs a pharmacy, Kangla Drug House at Uripok Machin ordered the medicines worth Rs 1.5 lakh from Mc Coy Biotech (Paraban), Chandigarh.
The parcels containing the ordered drugs were mailed through the Post on May 7.He was informed by the Postal Dept authority to collect the carton boxes today.
To his surprise, three of the boxes are filled with scraps of papers and heap of old magazines, instead of medicines, Rajamani Singh told media persons today in front of the Imphal Head Post Office.
He also pointed out that such goof-up was not the first time while adding that only scraps were delivered to him on earlier occasion for which he had lodged a complain to the Post Master concerned.
When the pharmacist contacted the company concerned, they denied having sent such stuffs to the addressee.
They also suggested that the goof-up might have cropped up somewhere else.
Rajamani said such poor service, if allowed to continue to happen, could act as the nemesis of the Postal Dept.
