National integration tour team meets President

The twenty four school children of Thoubal District on National Integration Tour (NIT) being organised by the Thoubal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) had' an interaction with President Ramnath Kovind today.
The children interacted with the President highlighting their culture and aspirations of the youths of Manipur.
Master Bibek Singh and Master Afzal Ali of KM Blooming School, Khangabok delivered speeches highlighting the cultural narrative and peaceful co-existence of Meitei and Pangal communities in Manipur.
The President shared his vision about peace and development of Manipur.
The children expressed their desire for quality education and job awareness in the State, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) today.
This remarkable interaction with the President of the Nation is sure to have a lasting effect on these young minds.
They will come back as ambassadors to motivate others to be part of overall development and Nation building, said the statement.
The NIT which started from October 1 will continue till October 16.The students will visit various cultural and historical places, shopping malls and famous landmarks in New Delhi and Pune.
