National Integration Tour Team meets President

The twenty four school children of Thoubal District who form part of the National Integration Tour (NIT) being organised by the Thoubal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) had a rare distinction and "a dream come true" of meeting the Honourable President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind on 05 October 2018 .
The children interacted with the Honourable President highlighting their culture and aspirations of the youth residing in Manipur.

Master Bibek Singh and Master Afzal Ali of KM Blooming School, Khangabok delivered speeches highlighting the cultural narrative and peaceful co-existence of Meitei and Pangal communities in Manipur.
The Honourable President shared his vision about peace and development in Manipur.
The children expressed their desire for quality education and job awareness in the State.
This remarkable interaction with the Honourable President of the nation is sure to have a lasting effect on these young minds.
They will come back as ambassadors to motivate others to be part of overall development and nation building.
The NIT is scheduled from 01 to 16 October 2018 in which the students will visit various cultural and historical places, shopping malls and famous landmarks in New Delhi and Pune.
