A 5 day Photo Exhibition on
the theme "Saaf Niyat, Sahi
Vikas" showcasing the 4 years
achievements of NDA
Government was inaugurated
by Th Biswajit Singh, Minister
IPR, RD, Works, Electricity &
Industry at INA Memorial Hall,
Moirang today.
The photo
exhibition is being organised by
the Regional Outreach Bureau,
Imphal under the Ministry of
Information and Broadcasting,
Government of India.

Singh (Retd IAS) and S K
Malviya, Addl.
Director
General (Region), Ministry of
Information and Broadcasting
attended the function as the
guest of honour and president
while K Sonikumar Singh,
Head of Regional Outreach
Bureau, Imphal was the other
presidium member.
Speaking on the occasion as
the chief guest, Th Biswajit
Singh highlighted the various
initiatives of the NDA
government said stated that
the BJP led government has
achieved what other
governments have failed to
achieve.
He said Prime
Minister Narendra Modi has
now propelled India into the
top echelon of nations with
his new initiatives and
schemes.
Stating that programmes like
Skill India Mission,
Demonitisation, Digital India,
Beti Bachao, Beti Padao, Make
in India etc.
are the brainchild
of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi, Biswajit said all such
ambitious initiatives show
Modi's love of his citizens in
general and his country in
Biswajit inaugurates 5 Day

particular.
He appealed all the
people to take the benefits of
the schemes.
MLA P Saratchandra Singh
pointed out the strategic
location of Manipur state in
the success of Act East Policy.
He however cautioned that
people of the state should not
remain mute spectator to all the
changes happening around
but instead should try to reap
the benefits of the new
changes.
Earlier, in his keynote address,
S K Malviya, ADG (Region)
highlighted the campaigns
being taken up by the Ministry
of Information and
Broadcasting and said
Regional Outreach Bureau,
Imphal will be organising
similar photo exhibitions in
other parts of the state during
the next few months.
He said
the Bureau is committed to
take the policies and
programmes to every nook and
corner of the country.
K Sonikumar Singh, Head of
Office, Regional Outreach
Bureau Imphal said the Bureau
is open to work with the
stakeholders in the state
government in creating
awareness on government
schemes.
He appealed the
minister to put forth proposals
for holding such programmes
in the state on which the
Regional Outreach Bureau
could work.
More than 70 life size photo
panels are at display in the 5
day photo exhibition in which
more than 250 people
attended.
Artistes of the Field
Outreach Bureau (FOB)
Imphal presented a
scintillating choral song based
on the different programmes
and schemes of the central
government.
