ASER training starts

A three-day training on Imphal East district level Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2018 was kick off today at the head office of Ya-ALL, Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak, Imphal.
Volunteers who will be taking part in the ASER survey will be given training to conduct assessment, survey, evaluation and research on foundational skills and status of school children, under Master trainers during the training.
20 volunteers are under each Master trainer for conducting the survey in 30 villages, said master trainers.
Speaking to reporters on the sideline of the training programme, master trainer Michael Khuraijam claimed that ASER is the most authentic survey report for school children and the policy makers of the country rely on the ASER data while framing education policy for children.
He further informed that ASER is done in in-depth manner with multiple level monitorings.
