No new Covid case, recovery reported

Imphal, April 29 2022:
No new positive case of Covid-19 was reported in the state on Friday as 163 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
No death cases were also reported in the last 24 hours and the toll remains at 2120 .
Till date, the virus has claimed lives of 194 vaccinated people of which 61 had received second doses of Covid vaccine.
The last 24 hours also reported no recoveries and number of active cases stands at 17 out of which 9 (52.94 per cent) are in home isolation.
There are 300 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 190 in RIMS.
So far, the state has recorded 11,432 positive cases and 118 fatalities since the beginning of the third wave of the pandemic.
The current month has reported 126 new positive cases and no fatality.
The weekly number of new cases and new fatalities are 15 and 0 respectively.
The cumulative number of positive cases has reached 1,37,220 (general population- 1,32,206 and CAPF personnel - 5,014) .
Number of recovered cases is 1,35,083 (general population - 1,30,076 and CAPF personnel - 5,007) and number of active cases is 17 (general population).
The recovery rate remains at 98.44 per cent.
A total of 112 D-type and 8 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities in the last 24 hours and 2393 vaccine doses administered in the same period taking the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 15,55,927, out of which 12,03,528 had received second doses and 81,701 had taken precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (48746), Imphal East (30444), Thoubal (10160), Churachandpur (11054), Kangpokpi (3134), Tamenglong (3478), Bishnupur 9842), Senapati (2493), Ukhrul (3277), Kakching (6896), Chandel (2725), Noney (1158), Tengnoupal (1201), Jiribam (1111), Kamjong (1036), and Pherzawl (465) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (704), Imphal East (511), Thoubal (189), Churachandpur (168), Kangpokpi (67), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (205), Senapati (12), Ukhrul 51), Kakching (122), Chandel (42), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (15), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5) and Pherzawl (0) .
Data analysed by this daily shows that the rate of infection remains 44,222 confirmed cases per million population (based on projected population of 31,03,000 as per NCP report) against the national average of 30,664 CPM.
Test rate has improved to 5,18,695 tests per million population against the national average of 5,95,826 TPM.
Case fatality rate stands at 1.54 per cent and cumulative positivity rate stands at 8.53 per cent.
