Only papers found in medicine-parcel

Raising question on the efficiency and credibility of the courier services in the State, a parcel containing medicines worth Rs 1.50 lakh which was sent by MC Coy/Biotech, a company based in Chandigarh through Imphal Post Office to Kangla Drug House was found packed with only papers when opened on receiving it.
The Kangla Drug House situated near Hindu Hotel, Uripok belongs to one Khsetrimayum Rajmani (40) of Sagolband Moirang Leirak.
Speaking to media persons in this regard, Rajmani said that the parcel that consisted of five carton boxes of medicines was sent by MC Coy/Biotech Company on May 7 last and after informed by the Imphal Post Office that the parcel has reached, he went to receive it today.
But when opened to check, he was stunned to see three carton boxes out of the five were filled with papers only.
However, two boxes were found packed with medicines.
Saying that similar incident had occurred in the past one and half years, Rajmani informed that he had filed a complaint to the Manager of Imphal Post Office.
