The Kuki and Naga Chiefs'/Chairmen Association, Tengnoupal, has expressed profound gratitude to the Congress led State Government for declaring Tengnoupal as a full-fledged revenue district along with other 6 others.
In a press statement signed by the its president Tm Holkhokhai Haokip, the association expressed gratitude to the Congress led State Government for declaring Tengnoupal as a full-fledged revenue district along.
The decision of the State Government to create 7 new districts for administrative conveniences was indeed a commendable not only for the people of the newly created Tengnoupal district but for the whole State, it said.
While lauding Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and his Cabinet including local MLA D Korungthang who is also the Sate Health Minister, for their decision, the association assured to extend full cooperation with the newly posted District Administrator to usher more development in the district.
The Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA), Tengnoupal Block also conveyed its gratitude to the Congress led State Government for fulfilling the long cherished dream of the people of the sub-division.
In a separate press statement issued by its Joint Secretary Thangkhoson Haokip, the Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA), Tengnoupal Block, assured to extend possible assistance to the newly posted officials of the new district for smooth implementation of developmental schemes in the district.
