Imphal, December 10 2016:
SSU's Md Sahidur stunned this year's MSL finalists AIM, Khabam with a superb 89th minute winner today to enter the quarter final of the ongoing 60th Sir Churachand Singh KCSI, CBE Memorial football tournament 2016 .
SSU, Sinjamei, who were placed 10th in this year's MSL, dented AIM's title hope with a 3-2 victory today at Mapal Kangjeibung.
SSU dominated possession right from the start and played attacking game.
At the same time, a brace by AIM's N Pritam went in vain as SSU struck the winner in the second half stoppage time.

N Pritam of AIM was the first to score as he latched on a ball that was unleashed into SSU goal area through a direct kick by Sushil Meitei by the middle of the first half.
The direct kick was awarded against SSU as their defender Kh Oken brought down AIM's striker N Borish, who was running towards SSU goal area in a quick counter attack, a few yards from the box.
The Singjamei players' efforts to equalise the goal did not yield in the first half.
However, they carried the momentum into the second half and equalised in the 52nd minute.
Penalty was awarded in favour of SSU in the 52nd minute as AIM defender M James committed a foul against SSU striker Md Sahidur inside the box.
Th Roshan converted the spot kick to make it 1-1 .
AIM took another lead not long after this as N Pritam struck his second through a pass from O Romton.
However, the lead was cancelled out by SSU as Th Roshan's shot through a throw-in went straight into the net of AIM in the 63rd minute.
Both sides pushed hard to find the winner testing each other's through some brilliant passes and attacking.
It was anticipated that the match winners will be decided through kicks from penalty as none could make any breakthrough.
However, a stunner by Md Sahidur in the 89th minute struck the deal for SSU.
Sahidur picked the perfect moment to chip in the winner off a Robinson pass from the left flank.
