NSUC conducts seminar

The Nags Students Union Chandel (NSUC) in collaboration with United College Lambung Chandel organized a one day seminar an quality education on August 6 at the college campus.
A press release issued by information and publicity secretary of NSUC stated that all the faculty members and students of the college participated in the seminar.
Dr Bd Thumdal Principal UCL, L David president, NSUC and Peter Thiirtung president, Monsang Students Union attended the seminar as guest speakers.
The seminar stressed on issues confronting the college and to initiate immediate remedial measures to improve educational system.
Regarding the lack of students' attendance, the union ensured that every student enrolled in the college will attend their classes soon.
A special meeting with students and parents will be convened also, it added.
It stated that every examination conducted in the college will be monitored by university, CSOs and authorities concerned to prevent the use of any unfair means and further appealed the teachers to be punctual and be more committed in shaping the careers of the students.
The union will leave no stone unturned while in the pursuit to promote quality education at the college as well as in the district, it assured.
Meanwhile, Naga Students Union Chandel has endorsed the 48 hours total shut down called by All Tribal Students Union Manipur (ATSUM) from August 10 to 11, in protest against the prolonged closure of Manipur University thereby jeopardizing careers of many students.
The union further appealed every individual or group, civil societies and Govt machineries to cooperate for smooth sailing of the bandh.
