Riverlane NaRM-G and SHG join charitable work

Under the banner COVID-19 Response, Riverlane NaRM-G and SHG volunteers reached out to the locals of Beru Angthi village in Chandel district and distributed the relief items as a measure to help ease their suffering on account of the ongoing lockdown.
The NaRM- and SHG members handed over items like rice dal, onion, edible oil and salt to about 30 households.
According to a group leader, the relief materials were procured from the fund mobilised by members of the NaRM- G and SHG which were formed under the supervision of North East Missionary Charitable (NEMC) an NGO partner of NERCORMP Chandel.
Komrem Students' Union - General headquarters (KRSU-GHQ) and Komrem Students' Union - Kangpokpi district (KRSU-KPI) distributed relief materials at Sinam Kom, Maibung Kom, Purum Khullen, Ngakhapat and Tepui village of Kangpokpi district today.
About 2 kilograms of rice were benefited by each household of the said villages.
